It is time to start our trek south towards the Bahamas and Caribbean.  We decided to make the first leg of our journey in the ICW from Charleston to Beauford so as to make our voyage a bit easier.  I image it was easier than being on the “outside” but it was certainly not easy.  The Harbor was riddled with large tanker vessels that we had to navigate around, then there was a freak storm which overtook us right as we were going through the already precarious Elliot’s Cut!  The obstacles to over come seem to be never ending.  But worth the effort!!
